Anne Hathaway had a master plan when she prepared for the 2024 SAG Awards red carpet. Anticipating the mini Devil Wears Prada reunion, she opted for an archival Versace dress from 2018 in a striking shade of—hold your breath—cerulean blue. If the significance escapes you, it’s high time for a re-watch of the beloved 2006 film. (Or at least, this particular scene.)
And just in case anyone doubted her intentions, Hathaway made her stance clear while chatting with Laverne Cox on the red carpet.
“And what color would you say this is?” Hathaway coyly inquired.
Without missing a beat, Cox, a clear fan of DWP herself, replied: “Cerulean.”
