Let’s explore the “hot pink” eye makeup trend on the Fall/Winter 2024 runway with Style-Republik.

The makeup look from the Dior Fall/Winter 2024 runway is predicted to become this year’s beauty trend. In contrast to the collection inspired by the first ready-to-wear clothing line of the house in 1967 with lots of cream and gold hues, Philips’ makeup look has added Marc Bohan’s favorite color to his mood board. Because Bohan, a designer who worked for Dior for 30 years, loves pink, “the inner corners of the eyes are adorned with striking pink patches,” Philips said.

To ensure all eyes are focused on the models’ eyes, Philips combined fluorescent pink eyeshadow palettes with natural makeup. First, models were prepped with moisturizer and primer. Philips said: “Then, I evened out the skin tone with Dior Forever Skin Glow and used Dior Forever Skin Correct for concealing.” To finish the outer layer, he used Dior Forever Glow Star Filter to highlight the cheekbones, forehead, nose bridge, and chin.

No need for blush because the Belgian makeup artist wants their skin to look as natural and radiant as possible. Additionally, Philips utilized the “hot pink” shade to naturally accentuate the eye socket.

Philips said: “These are all applied naturally to create a contrasting effect and achieve timeless beauty.” When closely examining the post-show photographs, you may notice that this color was applied to the models’ eyes, making them look like petals, adding softness to this inherently attractive eye style.

With the purpose of delivering naturally curled and voluminous lashes, Mascara is conspicuously absent in this makeup look. To keep up with this makeup trend, you can experiment with a magenta eyeliner pencil. First, you should line along the lash line and smudge to create a finished layer like the models in the Dior show. Then you can use mascara if desired to enhance contrast and lash length.

Philips continued: “Remember to groom the eyebrows and use Diorshow Brow Styler and Diorshow On Set Brow to shape them. And to have naturally-looking lips, you can use Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil 000 Universal Clear”
